Emerald Valley Pineapples
Buccament Valley, South Leeward, St. Vincent & Grenadines
We at Emerald Valley pineapple farm and tours live in one of natures greatest kept secrets. The island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. St Vincent & the Grenadines Botanical Gardens, is one of the oldest in the Western Hemisphere (preceded only by Bertram’s Garden in Philadelphia) and perhaps the oldest in the tropical world. Conservation of rare species of plants has been practiced here since 1765. The Nicholas Wildlife Aviary complex located within the Gardens also maintains a captive breeding program to conserve the vulnerable St Vincent Parrot. The Vermont Nature Trails are a network of well posted loops though the 1000-2000ft levels of Grand Bonhomme.
